Oh you need room for a couple people and groceries? Datsun had you covered there too with these wagons. They certainly are not as pretty as a 280-Z . Wagons were still pretty common in 1980. That reminds me...came across a RENAULT ad from the 60s (here in America) that talked about one car they had that got FORTY MPG...!
Naturally, it didn't do 0-60 in 4 seconds, but hey...can;t have everything, right?
That car would be a Godsend today...(called the Carvelle)
